Charger logistics invests time and support into its employees to provide them with the room to learn and grow their expertise and work their way up.  We are currently seeking a hands-on UI/UX Developer to join our Brampton head office. This role is ideal for someone who can contribute across the full UX lifecycle while also bringing strong front-end development expertise to build modern, scalable, and user-centric digital products.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and contribute to the end-to-end UI/UX process from research and concept to design, development support, and iteration.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and evaluate user requirements, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Design and visualize intuitive user interfaces for web, desktop, and mobile applications.
  • Create personas, user journeys, storyboards, sitemaps, process flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
  • Design and maintain scalable design systems and reusable UI components.
  • Build modern, responsive, and accessible user interfaces following mobile-first principles.
  • Design dashboards and data-heavy interfaces including filters, bulk actions, status indicators, and real-time updates.
  • Conduct usability testing and stakeholder interviews; translate insights into meaningful design improvements.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure design consistency, feasibility, and performance optimization.
  • Apply modern UI/UX trends such as micro-interactions, card-based layouts, and contemporary visual styles.
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment while meeting tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience designing and developing responsive web and/or mobile applications
  • Strong proficiency in modern React (hooks, context) and TypeScript
  • Solid foundation in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) with strong knowledge of web standards
  • Experience with modern CSS methodologies including Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, styled-components, or CSS-in-JS
  • Familiarity with build tools and bundlers such as Vite, Webpack, or esbuild
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, methodologies, and user-centered design
  • Proficiency with UI/UX and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Axure, InVision, Framer, Balsamiq, or UXPin
  • Experience creating user flows, low-to-medium fidelity wireframes, and interactive prototypes across multiple screen sizes
  • Knowledge of modern design trends including glassmorphism, neumorphism, bento grids, card-based layouts, and micro-interactions
  • Experience working with design systems and component libraries such as Radix UI, shadcn/ui, Headless UI, or Material UI
  • Strong understanding of responsive, mobile-first, and touch-friendly interface design
  • Experience designing dashboards and data-heavy interfaces with effective information hierarchy
  • Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as Recharts, Victory, Chart.js, or Nivo
  • Ability to design effective filtering, sorting, and search interfaces
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills
