We’re looking for a Junior-Mid UX/UI Designer to join our small, fast-paced team at Symplicity.
You’ll work directly with developers to design and refine the experiences that power our products.
This role is hands-on and collaborative—you’ll be involved from initial concepts through to shipped features, with plenty of opportunities to learn and iterate based on real customer feedback.

What You’ll Do

  • Design user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that solve real problems for our customers.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
  • Build and iterate on design concepts based on customer feedback.
  • Contribute to new feature development and enhance existing functionality.
  • Work on multiple projects with guidance from senior team members.
  • Partner closely with developers to bring designs to life.
  • What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience as a UX Designer (or relevant internship/bootcamp experience).
  • Strong foundation in UX fundamentals: wireframing, user flows, and prototyping.
  • Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Framer.
  • Portfolio demonstrating your design thinking and process.
  • Understanding of responsive web design principles.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow with our team.
  • Availability to work from our Brisbane City office when required.
  • Nice to Have:

  • Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS).
  • Awareness of WCAG accessibility principles.
  • Experience working in collaborative environments.
