YOU...

• define and approve grain areas and surface requirements for interior components in line with OEM standards
• perform surface analyses and visual evaluations (grain, colour, gloss) on parts and vehicles
• organize and lead Grain & Colour Days, pre-evaluations, and on-site assessments at plants
• coordinate with OEM departments, suppliers, and process partners
• approve or reject components and manage rework and re-evaluation processes with suppliers
• create and maintain photo documentation, acceptance checklists, and Grain/Colour control lists
• ensure transparent, up-to-date status reporting throughout the project

Qualifications

YOU...

• fulfill the general V.I.E program requirements
• have a technical degree or vocational training (e.g. Automotive, Plastics, Mechanical Engineering)
• bring experience in automotive interior components, surface quality, or supplier quality
• possess strong expertise in Grain & Colour definition and automotive surface evaluation standards
• can read and interpret technical drawings and surface specifications
• have experience working with OEM processes
• communicate fluently in German and English
• demonstrate excellent attention to detail, an assertive communication style, and high self-organization
• are willing to travel and work on-site in plants and at supplier locations
