We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Veterinary Nurse to join our Greencross Subiaco team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for animal care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Located 10 minutes from Perth CBD, Greencross Subiaco is a Stress-Free accredited clinic equipped with digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, IM3 dental, Bair Hugger and more. You will be joining a team of dedicated vets and enthusiastic nurses - we encourage open communication and contribution of ideas from all team members!

About your new role:

• Undertaking general nursing duties including surgical and medical nursing, consult nursing, emergency and critical care, and pathology 
• Performing minor procedures when required 
• Caring, handling and cleaning all animals
• Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
• Reception duties including being the first point of contact for clients, handling client enquiries in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments, managing client accounts, admitting and discharging patients

About your skills and your experience:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing 
• Min. 1+ years of experience
• Calm and friendly attitude 
• Excellent animal handling skills
• An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
• Good organisational, communication and customer service skills
• Flexible and adaptable within a team environment
• Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
