Vice President, Digital Product Owner - Wealth Management

About the Role

As a VP – Digital Wealth Product Owner, you will be at the forefront of RAKBANK’s Wealth Transformation journey. Reporting into the Personal Banking Group, this senior individual contributor role leads a dedicated agile squad to deliver high-impact digital solutions that redefine how clients engage with their wealth. You will translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives, optimize digital and face-to-face customer journeys, and drive innovation across the wealth management ecosystem.

What You’ll Be Doing

Product Ownership & Strategy Execution

• Own and drive the Wealth Transformation roadmap aligned with business goals and customer needs.
• Define and prioritize the product backlog, translating vision into actionable user stories.
• Collaborate with UX/UI and platform teams to deliver intuitive digital and staff-facing journeys.

Agile Leadership

• Lead a cross-functional agile squad including developers, designers, analysts, and testers.
• Act as the squad’s single point of accountability for product decisions and sprint planning.
• Ensure timely delivery of product increments with quality and compliance.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Communicate product progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Champion the voice of the customer through data-driven insights and feedback loops.
• Collaborate with Risk and Compliance to ensure regulatory alignment.

Innovation & Market Awareness

• Stay ahead of digital wealth trends and emerging technologies.
• Identify opportunities to enhance client engagement and advisory capabilities.
• Promote scalable, forward-thinking solutions aligned with long-term goals.

Financial Performance

• Improve origination volumes and reduce servicing costs through automation and STP.
• Track and optimize lending KPIs and enable upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
• Accelerate go-to-market for new propositions and features.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Engineering.
Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA, MSc in Finance or Digital Innovation).
Certifications: CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, Agile/Lean/Design Thinking, CFA/CFP (preferred).

Experience:

• 10+ years in product management, digital transformation, or agile delivery.
• 5+ years in a senior product owner role within an agile organization.
• 3+ years in wealth management, private banking, or fintech.

Technical Skills:

• Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
• Product lifecycle management
• Backlog tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence)
• Digital wealth platforms and robo-advisory tools
• Customer journey mapping and UX collaboration
• Data analytics (Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau)
• Regulatory awareness (MiFID II, FATCA, AML)
• API & integration concepts
