Role Roadmap

As a Video Editor at Kalshi, you’ll play a key role in shaping how the world experiences our brand through video. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, content, and creative teams to produce engaging, high-quality video content across platforms. Over time, you’ll help evolve Kalshi’s visual storytelling, experiment with new formats, and contribute to defining our creative standards as we scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Create, edit, and deliver compelling video content for Kalshi’s marketing, social, and brand initiatives

  • Collaborate with designers, motion artists, and marketers to bring concepts from idea to final cut

  • Edit short-form and long-form video content optimized for platforms like social media, web, and paid channels

  • Incorporate motion graphics, basic animation, and visual effects where appropriate

  • Assist with storyboarding, asset organization, and post-production workflows

  • Iterate quickly based on feedback while maintaining high creative and technical quality

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

What You Bring

  • 0–6 years of experience in video editing, post-production, or a related creative role

  • Strong proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects)

  • Solid understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition

  • Experience working with motion graphics and basic design principles

  • Strong attention to detail and a creative eye for polished visuals

  • Ability to take direction, incorporate feedback, and work collaboratively

  • A portfolio or reel demonstrating video editing work

Bonus Points

  • Experience with motion design and animation

  • Familiarity with 3D tools or workflows

  • Experience creating content for social-first or performance-driven campaigns

  • Interest in finance, markets, or technology-driven products

  • Ability to concept ideas as well as execute them end-to-end

NYC Pay Transparency Disclosure:

Salary Range: $110,000 to $150,000 annually plus equity and benefits.
This range reflects current market data for this role. Kalshi has minimal hierarchy and broad variance in experience levels within each title; if your compensation expectations exceed this range, we encourage you to reach out — we’re always happy to discuss.
