[VKS] Software Security Support Specialist

Project – the aim you’ll have

We are seeking a dedicated Software Security Support Specialist to assist our development teams in ensuring secure software development practices. The ideal candidate will support developers in fixing issues identified by Snyk and technical audits, validate and prioritize vulnerabilities, and perform occasional penetration testing when necessary. Additionally, the role involves reviewing code and guiding developers on secure coding practices.

Position – how you’ll contribute:

• Develop security and privacy-by-default processes in collaboration with internal specialists.
• Assist developers in addressing findings from Snyk and technical audits.
• Validate and prioritize identified vulnerabilities.
• Conduct occasional penetration testing as needed.
• Review code and provide guidance to developers on secure coding practices.
• Support daily tasks to allow the lead to focus on guidance, training, threat modeling, requirements, and design patterns.
• Implement forms using Microsoft tools (e.g., PowerApps) to help categorize projects and changes.

Qualifications

• Experience in software security and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with Snyk and other security tools.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices.
• Ability to perform penetration testing.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
