🧐 The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, pragmatic and results driven VP Marketing to lead our marketing engine as we scale from sales driven to product-led marketing & sales machine.

You won’t just be "managing a department"; you will be the architect of our global growth story. We are looking for a leader who can build out the Sendcloud brand, combined with industry leading product marketing & performance marketing. You will align Product, Sales, and Marketing to drive revenue, expand into new international markets, and prepare the brand for the next big milestones (including potential IPO readiness).

🎯 What you’ll do

  • Own the Global Strategy: Translate company objectives (revenue, retention, global expansion) into a cohesive marketing strategy. You will move us from "Europe's #1" to "Global Leader."
  • Fuel the Demand Engine: Oversee the entire funnel. You will lead the teams responsible for Demand Generation, Performance Marketing, and SEO, ensuring a predictable pipeline of high-quality leads for Sales.
  • Unlock the "Gold Mine": We have 30,000+ active customers. You will build a strategy to market to them. Your goal is to increase Net Revenue Retention (NRR) through upsells, cross-sells (e.g., paid features, insurance products), and adoption campaigns. You will turn our user base into our biggest growth channel.
  • Elevate the Brand: Logistics is complex; our story shouldn’t be. You will sharpen our positioning and messaging to ensure Sendcloud is the undeniable top-of-mind choice for merchants, marketplaces and 3PLs.
  • Product-led Marketing Leadership: Bridge the gap between Product and Sales as we transition to more product-led growth and growth hacking instead of traditional sales led growth. You will ensure that every new feature launch (and we launch a lot) lands with impact, driving adoption and reducing churn.
  • Scale the Team: You will lead and mentor a talented team of 20+ marketers across all Marketing disciplines. You hire great ambitious talent to fuel our engine.
  • Data-Obsessed Decision Making: If you can’t measure it, it didn’t happen. You will own the marketing P&L, optimize CAC/LTV, and report directly to the executive team on ROI.

✅ What you bring to the table

  • Scale-up Experience: You have been a VP or Head of Marketing at a B2B SaaS company scaling from €50M to €150M+ ARR. You know what breaks at this stage and how to fix it before it does.
  • International DNA: You have successfully led marketing expansions into new territories (Within Europe or the US). You understand the nuance of localizing a global brand.
  • Lifecycle Mastery: You understand that the sale doesn't end when the contract is signed. You have proven experience in marketing to an active customer base to drive NRR and reduce Churn.
  • Full-Stack Expertise: You are as comfortable discussing SEO algorithms and Hubspot workflows as you are reviewing brand creative or PR strategies.
  • Revenue First: You are aligned hip-to-hip with the VP of Sales and Product to build out our revenue generating machine.
  • Leadership: You lead with empathy but demand excellence. You have a track record of retaining top talent and building high-performance cultures.
