The Supply Chain Warehouse Worker is responsible for providing extraordinary service to both internal and external clients. They are responsible for performing manual labor tasks associated with receiving, storing, inventorying, and issuing materials, supplies, and assets delivered to and shipped from Belterra Casino Resort. 

The Supply Chain Warehouse Associate:

  • Delivers positive guest service to all team members, vendors and guests per company standards.
  • Ensures appropriate functions, duties, procedures, and activities of receiving, transporting, stocking of shelves, pulling orders, and delivery of goods are performed, and fulfill objectives and directions from the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Provides manual labor in the warehouse and receiving dock areas by loading, unloading, moving of goods and assist with receiving function of goods when needed.
  • Disperses goods from warehouse insuring correct item, correct quality and correct quantity of all goods are delivered to the end user and obtaining proof of delivery signatures.
  • Rotates and stocks incoming goods in warehouse coolers, freezers, and shelves.
  • Assists with performing periodic inventories of warehoused goods. 
  • Maintains housekeeping of warehouse, cleanliness of facilities, goods are labeled, rotated, and stored property according to HACCP standards, coolers and freezers are within an acceptable temperature range, and all equipment is in safe working order.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to perform manual labor warehouse tasks.
  • Must be able to operate and be certifiable on equipment such forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, hand trucks, carts, and electronic scales.
  • Must be able to operate and interpret handheld computers following standard operating procedures.
    • Handheld computers are used for receiving, inventory cycle counts, picking, etc. 
    • Basic computer knowledge is required. 
  • This position operates in a working environment that Is subject to varying levels of cold, wet conditions and noise.
  • This position occasionally works outside and is subject to all weather conditions.
  • This position is physical in nature and requires the incumbent to bend, carry, squat, stand, twist and lift up to 50+ pounds regularly 100 pounds occasionally and push/pull up to 100 pounds in order to store and retrieve items located in the warehouse(s).
    • The above is also applicable to the delivery of items to designated areas.
  • Must be able to review and comprehend all supply chain documents.
  • Must be able to effectively and efficiently move around warehouse(s), including climbing stairs, operating on uneven surfaces, and ramps.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and without direct supervision.
  • Ability to operate and use a radio as needed. 
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through high school graduation or equivalent, as well as through a minimum of one-year work experience as a warehouse person or related experience.
