Warehouse Employee

On behalf of our client, a multinational luxury fashion brand, we are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Employee to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Collecting merchandise from the distribution center and safely transporting materials.
• Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Operating warehouse equipment safely, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Provide useful and practical solutions to improve the overall logistics’ flow when required.
• Communication with commercial and marketing team regarding potential product quality issues.
• Performing regular cycle inventories within the year.
• The execution of all the stages concerning the sales orders received from the customer service department (ie quick selection of the right product codes and relatives quantities from the shelves, issuance of all the necessary shipping documents according to the tax legislation, ensure the proper packaging of the products, etc).
• The storaging of the company’s stock material received from the parent company (ie proper placement of the products received within the warehouse location, identification of discrepancies between orders and purchases, e.t.c).

Requirements

• At least 5 years warehouse or material handling experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Economics.
• Familiarity with accounting software packages or ERP’s.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access).
• Proficiency in Greek and English language (verbal and written).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Need to work efficiently & handle multiple tasks.
• Hands-on attitude and dynamic personality.
