Windows System Administrator

The role of System Administrator / Infrastructure Administrator includes deployment / upgrade projects and level 3 support / administration for the various European countries where the company is present                                                                                                                                                                         

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Coordination of IT Infrastructure & IT Services projects between global subsidiaries and central IT teams
• Ensure availability of production and infrastructure resources by supporting solution deployment
• Present roadmap versions and anticipate future obsolescence
• Manage Windows Infrastructure (evolution, lifecycle, obsolescence)
• Oversee Windows Patching Management and Emergency Patching
• Handle Vulnerability Management activities
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
• Strong knowledge of Proxy and Firewall environments for workstations
• Network knowledge (DNS, DHCP, PXE); Infoblox experience is a plus
• Manage Level 2 incidents and requests for 22 European subsidiaries, in overflow or escalation from the Portugal team (approx. 80% project / 20% operations)

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience
• Strong IT Infrastructure background
• Experience in Production Operations Steering
• Knowledge of IT Risk and Cybersecurity
• Strong coordination and team‑motivation skills
• Effective delegation abilities
• Systematic, critical, and logical thinking
• Strong summarization skills
• Committed, demanding, and pedagogical mindset
• Fluent in English
