Job Description
Provide travel management and system support services by administering travel authorizations, processing vouchers, ensuring compliance with Federal Travel Regulations (FTR), and supporting DHS S&T travel operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and process travel authorizations and vouchers
- Verify travel expenses for accuracy and allowability under FTR
- Calculate reimbursements for lodging, meals, transportation, and incidentals
- Educate staff on travel policies and procedures
- Support travel system configuration, reporting, and compliance activities
- Assist with audit requests and travel program reporting
Qualifications (Citizenship, Education, Experience, Skills)
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required
- Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in financial operations and government travel
- Skills: Knowledge of FTR; travel systems; financial analysis; customer support; documentation accuracy
Required DoD / DHS Systems, Tools, and Framework Experience
- Office Tools: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams
- Scheduling/Tracking Systems: ConcurGov, ETS2, STATS
- Security/Information Handling: DHS financial data handling and internal control compliance
