About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be a technical leader responsible for architecting, building, and owning critical features from end-to-end. You will leverage your deep expertise in both Python on the backend and React on the frontend to solve complex challenges and build scalable, resilient, and user-centric applications.

What You'll Do

●     Architect & Build: Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable backend services and APIs using Python (Django/FastAPI).

●     Develop Modern UIs: Architect and implement intuitive, performant, and accessible user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and modern state management libraries.

●     End-to-End Ownership: Take full ownership of projects from initial concept and design through to deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.

●     Lead Technical Decisions: Drive technical design discussions, write detailed design documents, and lead the team toward high-quality, scalable architectural solutions.

●     Mentor & Coach: Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through thoughtful code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance, helping to level up the entire team.

●     Improve Our Systems: Champion best practices in testing, CI/CD, and observability to ensure our systems are reliable and maintainable.

●     Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate ambiguous business requirements into concrete technical solutions.

Requirements

Who You Are (Qualifications)

●     Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record of building and shipping complex, full-stack web applications.

●     Deep expertise in Python and at least one modern web framework (e.g., Django, FastAPI, Flask). You have experience designing RESTful or GraphQL APIs that are used by production systems.

●     Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript and React. You understand the React ecosystem, including state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand), hooks, and performance optimization techniques.

●     Solid experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), Non-relational Databases (e.g. MongoDB), and Graph DB (e.g. Neo4j) including schema design, and ORM usage.

●     You can lead architectural discussions and have hands-on experience designing scalable, distributed systems. You understand the trade-offs between different architectural patterns.

●     Experience deploying and managing applications on a cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) is essential.

●     Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. ArgoCD, Jenkins, etc.)

●     Experience with Caching Mechanism

●     Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka) and asynchronous systems.

Bonus Points (Nice to Have)

●     Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

●     Familiarity with modern React frameworks like Next.js.

●     Knowledge of observability tools (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
