Scope of the Role
As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our social media presence across TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and YouTube. This is a hands-on role requiring creativity, consistency, and strong attention to detail. You’ll handle daily content posting, engage directly with our community, and generate actionable insights through performance analytics — all while maintaining our brand voice and growing our online presence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Daily Posting
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across TikTok, Instagram, and Meta platforms.
- Repost video and short-form content to YouTube Shorts or YouTube, as necessary.
- Stay on top of social trends to ensure content remains culturally relevant and aligned with audience interests.
Community Management
- Respond to comments on posts and ads in a timely, professional, and brand-consistent manner.
- Write compelling captions and manage story reposts from user-generated content or brand collaborations.
- Handle DMs with a focus on customer service and community building, escalating issues where necessary.
Monthly Analytics & Reporting
- Pull performance data from TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and YouTube.
- Populate analytics into a client-provided template and present insights with recommendations for improvement.
- Track engagement metrics, audience growth, reach, and content performance trends.
Requirements
Years of Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
Background
- Proven success managing brand or creator accounts on TikTok and Instagram.
- Strong experience in community management and digital engagement.
- Track record of creating, scheduling, and posting across multiple social media channels.
Tools and Software
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Buffer, Hootsuite, or native platform tools).
- Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, YouTube Studio).
- Proficiency with Google Sheets, Excel, or similar tools for data reporting.
- Working knowledge of trending audio, rights-free music, and sound pairing for short-form video content.
Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required):
- Background in content creation or copywriting.
- Experience with influencer collaborations or UGC content management.
