Role Summary:
Our Client is seeking a talented Copywriter to join their growing ecommerce team. This role will focus on creating compelling, conversion-focused copy that drives customer acquisition, engagement, and retention across all marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and edit high-converting email campaigns, product descriptions, and sales copy for our ecommerce brand
- Continuously iterate on copy to increase conversions and beat controls, with a focus on customer acquisition and retention
- Create copy for product pages, landing pages, ad campaigns, social media, and TikTok Shop optimization
- Develop compelling copy for influencer collaborations, affiliate programs, and creator partnerships
- Write engaging content for our customer community and email nurture sequences
- Collaborate with our marketing team on campaign messaging and brand voice consistency
- A/B test copy variations and analyze performance to optimize messaging
- Ensure all copy aligns with brand guidelines and speaks to our target audience
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience with ecommerce/DTC brands: You've written copy that drives online sales and understand the customer journey
- Strong communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication for effective team collaboration
- Experience with email marketing, product copywriting, and conversion optimization
- Understanding of ecommerce customer psychology and purchase behaviors
- Ability to adapt tone and messaging for different platforms (email, social, ads, website)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful ecommerce copy with measurable results
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with TikTok Shop or social commerce copy
- Background with creator/influencer campaign messaging
- Knowledge of A/B testing and performance-driven copywriting
- Familiarity with retention marketing and lifecycle email campaigns
- Experience with beauty, lifestyle, or consumer product brands
