AbbVie is looking for an Account Manager within Eye Care in Southern parts of Sweden (Västra Götaland, Halland, Skåne, Blekinge, Kronoberg, Kalmar, Jönköping).
The Role
As Account Manager (AM) within Eye Care you will manage the assigned territory and targeted accounts in southern parts of Sweden focusing on our product for retinal diseases. You collaborate and build strong customer relationships, using your capabilities in finding and solving customer needs to maximize short- and long-term sales performance. Specifically tailoring interactions to suit the needs of the different accounts. Always placing the patient in the center in accordance with AbbVie’s values and guiding principles. You will be responsible for all commercial planning and activities in the defined territory to grow the Eye Care business and establish strong leadership for our products within hospitals.
The AM is part of the cross-functional In-Field Sales Team consisting of Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Public- and External Affairs among other functions. You will in close collaboration with your peers drive and execute brand strategies, implement tactics, drive sales performance and set strong account plans
To be successful in this position you have a degree qualification in healthcare, business or science. We welcome applicants who are relatively new to the life science sector and are today working in either pharmaceutical or medical device sales. Alternatively you could be a pharmacist or other healthcare professional who can demonstrate what it takes to develop a career in pharmaceutical sales. You come with a solid knowledge of the Swedish healthcare system.
As this is a field based position requiring frequent travel you need a valid drivers license.
If you do not have a relevant degree qualification you will eventually be required to take the LIF examination.
Fluent Swedish is required and a strong command of English.

This is a field-based commercial position requiring travels based in the southern part of Sweden and mainly travels within this region.
The position reports to Field Manager Scandinavia.
