Account Manger (f/m/d) - SMB Sales (DACH)

This position in the Account Management team will focus on the SMB segment within Germany. The right candidate will take responsibility for a strategically relevant customer portfolio with a focus on existing customer development, cloud transformation, and targeted new customer acquisition. This position can be based in Berlin or Karlsruhe.
Tasks
- Independent management, development, and control of a defined account portfolio.
- Securing and expanding existing revenue (MRR range: €1,500–€10,000 per customer).
- Building and maintaining an active sales pipeline, including forecasting and deal management.
- Conducting qualified customer appointments and developing individual cloud solutions. Identifying and managing technical risks to prevent churn.
- Ensuring high customer satisfaction (e.g., via NPS and feedback discussions).
- Working closely with marketing, partner sales, and the central account management team.
Qualifications
- Several years of experience in sales of cloud, IaaS, or IT solutions in the business customer environment.
- Deep understanding of the cloud market, ideally with an industry focus.
- Proven success in customer development, new customer acquisition, and MRR growth.
- Routine experience with Salesforce, BI tools, and relevant KPIs (conversion rate, pipeline performance, retention).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in German and English.
