What is the role:
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and systems-savvy Accounting Manager to join our lean but high-impact Accounting team. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, you’ll help scale our core accounting operations, take ownership of the month-end close for a multi-entity organization, and support key processes across compliance, payroll, and financial reporting.This position is a great fit for someone who thrives in high-growth environments, enjoys solving complex blockchain related problems, and fully understands foundational accounting processes while helping us build for scale. We’re looking for someone with a strong grasp of US GAAP, experience with accounting systems and integrations (such as QuickBooks, Stripe, Ramp), and a mindset focused on automation, documentation, and continuous improvement.
What you'll do:
Lead and manage our month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for areas like accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and reclassesSupport the Director of Accounting with financial reporting across multiple entities, including consolidation, monthly close packages, variance analysis, investor reporting, and audit preparationAssist with tax requests from our outside tax firmDrive improvements in accounting systems and integrationsAssist with technical accounting research and process documentation, to include ASC 606 revenue recognition and ASC 842 lease accountingAid in strategic projects, such as post-merger balance sheet and multi-entity consolidations, and ERP readiness initiativesPartner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to improve billing operations and customer balance workflowsCalculate the financial impact of Blockchain transactions within the General Ledger

What you'll need:
8 years of progressive accounting experience, including time in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS, or tech environmentsStrong understanding of US GAAP, with hands-on experience managing general ledger and close processesEnsure compliance with ASC 606 across subscription, usage based, credit, and refund modelsUnderstand SaaS KPIs such as MRR/ARR, CAC, LTV, NDR, and Churn Take ownership, communicate clearly, and bring a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to problem solving and cross-functional collaborationProficiency with accounting systems like QuickBooks, and finance tools like Ramp, Deel, and StripeExperience managing or supporting multi-entity accounting, international operations, or tax compliance a plus2 years in public accounting, CPA is a plusBlockchain experience is a plus, but not required Experience working in a fast-paced startup or global remote environment is a plus.
