🌟 Accounts Assistant – Portfolio Finance 🌟

Are you looking to grow your career in finance within an international environment? We’re looking for a motivated Accounts Assistant to join our Portfolio Finance Department, supporting day-to-day accounting operations and helping keep our financial processes running smoothly.

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting routine finance activities, including:

💳 Assisting with daily finance operations, such as reconciling Sales Orders to Customer Subscriptions and Purchase Orders to Vendor transactions
🏦 Supporting bank reconciliations and accurate data entry
🧾 Processing accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, approvals, and payments
📅 Assisting with month-end and year-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations
🤝 Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
📞 Supporting debt collection and responding to customer queries
✅ Validating invoices between our accounts system and customer invoice portal
🌍 Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders
📂 Supporting audits by providing financial documentation
🗂️ Handling general administrative and ad hoc finance tasks

🎯 What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

🎓 A strong interest in building a long-term career in finance and accounting
📊 2–3 years’ experience in a finance or accounting support role, ideally working towards AAT or another accounting qualification
🌎 Fluency in English and Spanish
⏰ Availability to work CET hours (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
📚 A good understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
💻 Experience using accounting software (NetSuite preferred)
🔎 Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
🗓️ Strong organisational and time management skills
📈 Confidence using Microsoft Excel and general IT systems
💬 Great communication skills and a collaborative mindset

🕘 Important Information

You’ll be supporting businesses across Europe, so working CET hours (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) is essential.
