Accounts Officer
- Work with the accounting unit to ensure duties are properly performed.
- Assisting with research, filing, data entry, recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
- Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents.
- Work with the company accounting software.
- Prepare and maintain a petty cash/imprest system
- Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
- Learn how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients.
- Take on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations.
- Preparing report based on analysis and reporting to management
- Any other responsibility as may arise in the course of your work
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of accounting or other relevant experience
- Proficient in the use Accounting packages and Excel functions
- BSC degree required (Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics) or Started ICAN, ACCA or at least 1.
- Strong analytical and data gathering skills
- Good business acumen
