Actuarial Associate
The Job
We are seeking a motivated Actuarial Associate to support reserving, data modelling, claims analysis and reporting activities within our insurance business. The role also involves collaborating with finance, risk management and underwriting teams, whilst developing technical actuarial skills under senior guidance, with opportunities for professional development and exam progression.
About You
You should have a positive and analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with others. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the role involves explaining technical information clearly and collaborating across teams. You should be comfortable working under pressure, enjoy teamwork, and have a strong interest in data analysis and insurance risk.
Job Requirements
- A degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of actuarial or data tools is an asset
- Ability to manage deadlines and work accurately under pressure
- Motivation to learn and progress through professional actuarial exams
