Our partner firm, Reid Accountants + Advisors, is hiring! Reid Accountants + Advisors is an independent, full-service certified public accounting firm specializing in accounting and consulting services for businesses and individuals. We currently have offices in Long Island, NYC and White Plains. Join a rapidly growing organization with a strategic vision and dynamic plan.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Intern to join our team. This paid internship offers a hands-on learning experience in a professional accounting environment, providing support to our administrative and office staff. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong organizational skills and a desire to grow their administrative and office management expertise.
Key Objectives:
· Assist with general office administration tasks such as filing, scanning, copying, and data entry and other projects as needed.
· Support the team with scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and managing calendars.
· Update and maintain client and vendor databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
· Provide clerical support for various projects as assigned.
· Learn and adhere to internal policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
· Provide front-desk coverage when needed by answering incoming calls and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
· Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in a related field preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to commute/relocate: Woodbury, NY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
This position operates as part of a US East Coast-based team, with typical working
hours aligning with EST to facilitate effective collaboration. We offer flexibility in
managing your schedule to maintain a healthy work-life balance while meeting
business needs.

offers an hourly pay rate of $16 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
