Afterhours Vet Nurse - ARH Brisbane

The Animal Referral Hospital is seeking Part Time Vet Nurses for our after-hour shifts! 

• Part Time Veterinary Nurse – 20-30 hours a week.  
• Evening, Overnight and Weekend nursing of hospitalized in-patients only 
• Based in Sinnamon Park  
• Above award wage and after-hours penalties  
• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent 

ARH provides round‑the‑clock patient care, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To continue delivering exceptional and continuous care, we are seeking dedicated Part‑Time Veterinary Nurses to join our after‑hours and weekend team. Casual positions are also available. 

About the Role 

We are looking for qualified and experienced Veterinary Nurses to care for our surgical inpatients during after‑hours periods. In this role, you will: 

• Provide high‑quality nursing care to hospitalized surgical patients 
• Work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive clinical team 
• Operate under the guidance and direction of our Emergency Veterinarians 
• Apply advanced nursing skills and sound clinical judgement in a fast‑paced environment 

About You 

This role is ideal for a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse who: 

• Has experience in a specialist centre or a busy general practice 
• Thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys multitasking 
• Is motivated, compassionate, and committed to excellent patient care 
• Can work confidently and autonomously during after‑hours shifts
