In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy AI-driven applications that integrate seamlessly with backend systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and data stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust AI solutions. The position requires a strong foundation in Python, backend development, and applied AI, along with the ability to scale models and services in production environments. You will be expected to think beyond algorithms, focusing on system performance, reliability, and real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-powered backend services using Python, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Build, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning and AI models tailored to business use cases.
• Integrate AI/ML models into backend APIs and services for real-time or batch inference.
• Work on data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model pipelines to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define AI requirements and success metrics.
• Deploy and monitor AI models in production, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
• Optimize backend systems for performance, security, and scalability while handling large datasets.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning frameworks, and backend technologies, and apply them where relevant.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and best practices to maintain high engineering standards.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 3+ years of professional experience as an AI Developer, Backend Developer, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development and AI/ML workflows.
• Solid understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts, including model development and deployment.
• Experience building and maintaining backend systems, APIs, and services that support AI functionalities.
• Ability to work with structured and unstructured data, and translate insights into practical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance technical depth and business impact.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and taking ownership of end-to-end solutions.
• Good communication skills to explain complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
