About the Role: Senior Consultant – Data Engineering (Epic)
Location: Abu Dhabi (Onsite)
Experience – 5+ Years
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Epic Clarity and Microsoft Fabric to build
scalable, AI-ready healthcare data platforms. This role will focus on designing Fabric Lakehouses, extracting
and transforming Epic Clarity data, and automating AI training pipelines for predictive healthcare analytics.
You will play a critical role in building longitudinal patient datasets and ensuring high-quality, drift-free data
feeds for AI and advanced analytics.
What You’ll Do:
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Engineering & Fabric Ecosystem
• Design and implement Fabric Lakehouse architecture optimized for AI training, historical analytics,
and healthcare reporting.
• Develop scalable data models to support large-scale patient data ingestion and analytics.
2. Epic Clarity Data Mining
• Perform advanced data extraction from Epic Clarity to build longitudinal patient records.
• Create structured datasets for retrospective analysis and AI model validation.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, PHI standards).
3. Pipeline Automation & AI Enablement
• Build and manage automated pipelines using Microsoft Fabric Data Factory.
• Ensure continuous refresh of AI training datasets to prevent data drift.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and validation checks for healthcare data pipelines.
4. Data Quality, Governance & Security
• Enforce data governance, lineage, and auditability within Fabric.
• Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and PHI-safe data handling
Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industries.
• Strong hands-on experience with Epic Clarity (SQL-based reporting database).
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric, including:
o Lakehouse
o Fabric Data Factory
o OneLake
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills for healthcare datasets.
• Experience building AI-ready data pipelines for ML training and validation.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, PHI handling, and healthcare data standards.
Good to Have
• Experience supporting clinical, claims, or EHR analytics.
• Exposure to AI/ML workflows in healthcare.
• Knowledge of FHIR, HL7, or OMOP models.
