Overview
Harrison Street Asset Management is seeking an Analyst to join the Investor Services team, within the Investor Solutions Group. This individual will be an integral member of the team and will report directly to the Global Head of Investor Services. This person will regularly partner with the client-facing members within the Investor Solutions Group, as well as all departments of the firm, including senior management. In addition to contributing to capital formation efforts, the role will help deliver best-in-class client service and advance broader departmental initiatives that enhance the investor experience and support platform growth.
Responsibilities
Direct involvement in the day-to-day fundraising process; collaborate with the client-facing team members to move prospects through the entire cycle of the fundraising process.
Assist in the preparation of investor materials and meeting briefings, working cross-functionally with other members of the Investor Services and Brand Strategy teams to ensure messaging is tailored, timely, and aligned with firm strategy.
Assume “Generalist” responsibilities, providing support for all strategies marketed across the firm’s platform.
Support the completion of investor inquiries, RFPs, DDQs and other diligence requests across all strategies marketed by the Firm.
Assist client reps in their preparation for investor meetings, including research assignments, creation of client briefing books, and organize internal follow-ups to those meetings.
Research competitors and independently monitor industry trends across asset classes and products through key databases and publications like Preqin, eVestment, Dakota, IREI, and PERE.
Embrace the use of technology and tools to execute efficient and quality work product, including the maintenance and updating of the CRM system (Salesforce), the RFP system (Responsive), and use AI tools, like Copilot, for efficiency and improved quality of output.
Serve as a resource on special departmental projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing internal processes and improving the overall investor experience.
Work closely with members of the ISG team to support fundraising and business development efforts by ensuring timely entry and tracking of prospect interactions, commitments, and capital pipelines.
Foster collaboration across ISG, Portfolio Management, Asset Management, Transactions, Research, and Compliance to ensure seamless coordination of investor deliverables.
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows between teams and propose system/process improvements.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
1+ years of experience in investment management, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, or financial services, with the understanding of related real estate and financial terminology.
Familiarity with CRM systems, Salesforce knowledge is a plus
Proficient user of the MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; mastery of the following Excel skills is required: pivot tables, lookup functions, and logical formulas.
Understanding of fundraising processes, investor relations, and capital formation workflows.
Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
High attention to detail, accountability, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
