Call for Experts: UK–Nigeria Growth Programme (UKNG)
The FCDO funded UKNG programme will focus on real investment and trade opportunities to resolve deal-specific bottlenecks. To support direct private sector investment and trade facilitation, ASI is building a high‑quality roster of experts for UKNG. Depending on demand, these experts will be mobilised to support Nigerian and UK businesses, strengthen trade and investment flows, and address sector‑specific bottlenecks across priority (non-oil) value chains.
We are looking for experienced Nigerian professionals, Nigeria‑based consultants, and international experts with demonstrated experience operating in Nigeria’s business, investment, trade and regulatory environment.
We welcome expressions of interest from specialists with strong, technical and commercial expertise along with hands-on problem-solving and troubleshooting experience in any of the following areas:
Trade Facilitation & Market Access
Customs and border structures, processes and procedures
Non‑tariff barrier identification and resolution
Standards, certification, SPS/TBT compliance
Export readiness support for Nigerian companies (including SMEs)
Logistics, supply-chain operations, and trade documentation
2. Investment Facilitation & Transaction Support
Feasibility studies and commercial diagnostics linked to specific opportunities.
Due diligence and structuring
Regulatory navigation (permits, licences, local content, tax)
Legal support (commercial law, investment agreements)
