Assistant Management Accountant
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and support month-end management accounts
- Post accruals, prepayments, revenue deferrals and journals
- Reconcile revenue and costs across entities
- Deliver clear variance analysis and commentary
- Complete balance sheet, intercompany and stock reconciliations
- Support audit and statutory processes
- Improve processes within the Management Accounts team
- Partner with teams across the business to resolve queries and ensure accurate reporting
- Contribute to acquisition integration activity where required
No two days are the same — you’ll need to be organised, analytical and comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Finalist or newly qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant (or similar) role
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, formulas)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with Sage 200 (desirable)
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder skills
- Detail-focused, proactive and solutions-oriented
