Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a minimum of 2 years' sales or client service experience to join a dynamic London-based team at a leading specialist asset manager that has great potential to grow. New York-based Cohen & Steers is a global leader in managing liquid real asset strategies – alternative investments that are in great demand – and the firm has an entrepreneurial strategy to build out its operations across the EMEA region. This role offers a rare opportunity to support a business across diverse geographies with the potential to transition into a sales or marketing role as our wholesale business expands. Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Ensure that clients receive first class service:
- On-board new accounts
- Prepare/update presentations and reporting packages
- Update, maintain and analyze sales trends and strategies utilizing Salesforce CRM
- Provide support for client meetings and conference calls
- Fulfil ‘broker-desk’ function to intermediary fund distributors for UCITS fund range:
- Answer fund specific enquiries
- Update standard fund presentations
- Assist in negotiation of distribution agreements
- Support strategic client relationship development efforts:
- Maintain and develop client relationship plans
- Provide internal reporting to senior management
- Assist in negotiation of distribution agreements
- Provide excellent sales support to help drive AUM growth:
- Run performance/risk metric reports and comparisons with peers in marketplace, utilising tools such as FE Analytics and Morningstar
- Liasing with internal SMEs to obtain data required for comprehensive follow-ups with clients
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of data within CNS CRM system (Salesforce)
Minimum Requirements:
- Fluent in English with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 2:1 bachelor degree
- Minimum of 2 years' of directly relevant client service experience
- Keen understanding of performance reporting tools (FE Analytics/Morningstar/Refinitiv etc)
- Proficient IT skills - all Microsoft office products (including skills in macro-based Excel work) and able to pick up other systems easily, including Salesforce
- Strong technical investment knowledge and sound understanding of investment products
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency in responding to client service and sales support enquiries
- Ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time
- Energy, drive and stamina with strong team player skills
- Desire to learn and grow with a view to take on increasing levels of responsibilities
- Language skills (preferrable): Spanish to support future growth opportunities

- Is able to abide by the firm’s hybrid work arrangement policy in the London office (4 days in-office/1 day remote)
