Portage Point Partners is seeking an Associate, Financial Due Diligence (FDD) to join its India team. This Associate will support buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements for US and global private equity firms, corporates and lenders. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, high attention to detail and the ability to operate in a fast-paced US deal environment. Associates will work closely with Vice Presidents and Directors in the US and India, contributing to high-quality work products, discrete workstreams and client-ready analyses.
Responsibilities
Support execution of FDD engagements including Quality of Earnings (QoE), revenue / EBITDA analysis, working capital reviews and cash flow analysisReview financial statements, management reports and transaction materials to identify key trends, risks and value driversPrepare client-ready deliverables including data books, analytical schedules, QoE bridges and executive-level summariesAssist in synergy assessments, carve-out analyses and integration supportCollaborate with US engagement teams and participate in client discussions when requiredWork on multiple engagements simultaneously while maintaining high quality and responsivenessContribute to developing best practices, knowledge sharing and India team processesSupport business development efforts including research, pitch materials and thought leadership
Required Qualifications
Two to four years of experience in Financial Due Diligence / Transaction Advisory / DealsExperience working with private equity clients or on US / global transactions is preferredWilling to relocate to or be primarily present in GurgaonStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into insightsProficiency in financial modelling, Excel analytics and management data analysisExcellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to create client-ready outputsAbility to work under tight timelines with a strong sense of ownershipProven experience in high-pressure, client-facing environments
