We are looking for a process‑driven and highly dedicated Automation Engineer with a passion for challenging commissioning projects. In this role, you will work at the intersection of automation, process engineering, and regulatory requirements—contributing directly to the performance, reliability, and compliance of our cutting‑edge isolator systems.
- Develop and adapt PLC software (Siemens TIA Portal) for advanced isolator systems
- Conduct comprehensive functional tests and support process validation activities
- Collaborate closely with process engineers to ensure alignment with regulatory standards
- Support extensive on‑site commissioning activities at customer facilities (often in shift models)
- Analyse technical issues, perform troubleshooting, and drive continuous process improvements
- Create and maintain technical documentation and software standards
- Provide technical support to project management, service teams, and qualification functions
Qualifications
- Solid experience in PLC programming; Siemens TIA Portal is a must‑have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in automation, machine control, pharmaceutical equipment, or process environments
- Willingness to work with control engineering topics and expand expertise
- Strong understanding of process environments; experience in aseptic production is a clear advantage
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 15–20%)
- Beneficial: Siemens Step7 Classic
- Good command of English and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- A structured, reliable working style with a strong sense of responsibility
