AWS Cloud Technical Lead

About The Opportunity

The AWS Cloud Technical Lead is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of cloud-based solutions for midsize & enterprise clients. This includes, but is not limited to hosting whiteboard discussions, developing technical architecture, and preparing client documentation.    

The success of the AWS Cloud Technical Lead role is measured in the following ways:  

• Be a subject matter expert for the Netrix suite of AWS, Virtualization and Security engagements
• Participate in client whiteboards and project planning activities  
• Gather and / or document project requirements  
• Review client documentation and deliverables  
• Prepare technical design documentation and task-level project plans  
• Work as a part of a multifaceted team to deliver holistic technical solutions

How You Will Make An Impact

As a member of our growing team, many of the  Technical Lead duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Delivery & Leadership Experience:
Experience acting as *technical lead* on multiple cloud engagements.
Ability to lead architecture decisions and guide implementation teams.
Experience working in *professional services or consulting environments*.
Comfortable owning end-to-end technical delivery, from design through production

• Client & Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Experience interacting directly with clients as a technical authority.
Ability to lead workshops, design reviews, and technical discussions.

• Operational & Best Practices:
Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and operational excellence in AWS.
Experience with cost optimization and performance tuning.
Strong DevOps practices and CI/CD concepts.

Functional Skills Required:  

• Proven hands-on experience designing and delivering solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Deep knowledge of core AWS services, including: Compute, storage, networking, identity, and security services.
• Experience designing cloud-native and hybrid architectures
• Strong understanding of: Networking concepts (VPC, routing, VPNs, connectivity); Identity and access management (IAM, least privilege); Security best practices and governance in AWS; Experience with *Infrastructure as Code (IaC)* (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation); Ability to troubleshoot and optimize AWS environments in production.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional).
• Other relevant cloud or security certifications are a plus.

What You Will Bring To The Table

• 3 - 5 years of experience in a technical consulting role 
• Strong oral and written communication skills  
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively  
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to overcome difficult challenges  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong background in cloud architecture and enterprise IT environments.
• Fluent English is a must as we are a global company with people all over the world.

Location

• Buenos Aires, Argentina (any part of the country its great for us!)

Shift

• 9 a.m to 6 p.m from Monday to Friday
