Job Purpose
The B2B Marketing Manager is responsible for driving our marketing and client acquisition initiatives focused on payroll product and salary-linked solutions. This role combines strategic marketing leadership and hands-on sales collaboration to position our offerings with enterprise and mid-market clients.
The ideal candidate comes from a banking, fintech, or payroll/HR solutions company (e.g., Sprout, GreatDay HR, or similar) and has direct experience in selling or marketing payroll and salary-linked products and services, not just inbound or cross-sell, but full-cycle B2B acquisition.
Your Impact: What You’ll Do:
Strategic Marketing & Go-to-Market Execution. Develop and execute targeted B2B marketing strategies, driving awareness, demand generation, and lead conversion. Build go-to-market campaigns that align with business growth objectives by targeting HR, Finance, and Operations decision-makers.
Sales Enablement & Collaboration. Work closely with Sales and Business Development teams to generate high-quality leads and design tools that support the sales funnel, from prospecting to closing. Create compelling pitch decks, case studies, and campaign content that differentiate our payroll and salary-linked solutions in the market.
Market Development & Client Acquisition. Identify new business opportunities within target industries (BPO, Manufacturing, tech, and enterprise sectors). Leverage market intelligence to shape campaigns that attract decision-makers and key influencers. Represent the company in industry events, forums, and webinars to enhance visibility and credibility in the target market.
Market Research & Competitive Insights. Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis. Gather insights on customer needs, pricing models, and buying behaviors to refine go-to-market strategy and product positioning.
Performance Measurement & Optimization. Define, monitor, and analyze key marketing performance indicators (MQLs, SQLs, conversion rates, ROI). Continuously optimize marketing spend and campaign performance through data-driven insights.
What We’re Looking For: Skills & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred.
Experience: 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing and sales, with a strong focus on payroll, banking, fintech, or HR technology. Proven track record in acquiring and managing enterprise clients, not limited to inbound or cross-sell but full-cycle sales engagement.Direct experience with payroll or HRIS solutions providers (e.g., Sprout, GreatDay HR, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.) or local banks offering payroll products is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies: Deep understanding of payroll systems, HR workflows, and corporate banking relationships. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive B2B content. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities; able to translate insights into actionable plans. Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Suite).Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
