The role

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Chef to join the events team. In this role you'll:

• Support a team of professional Chefs, catering some of Australia’s most recognised events, including Industry events, galas, and private functions.
• Prepare and deliver a variety of cold items to a number of Crown's F&B outlets
• Assist in the preparation and plating of events for 10 - 2500 guests.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of food safety standards and HACCP.

About you

You’ll bring the following:

• Extensive experience in a similar commercial kitchen environment. Ideally in Garde Manger or cold section or hot section with high volume, event experience.
• Strong knife skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously, and as a part of a team.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
