Important Details
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, typically 30-36 hours/week (position depending)
Position Duration: Training begins June 7 and will run until June 11 - June 14 (position depending). Programs run June 22 through August 21. See our Bellevue Day Camp Location page for all details!
Compensation: Pay is determined based on position, additional responsibilities, relevant certifications, and staff tenure. Starting hourly are below:
Instructors: $19.82/hour
Specialists: $20.30 - $21.30/hour
Specialized certifications eligible for end-of-season bonuses! $100- $400 per certification
Most positions require you to be eligible to drive - our Drivers transport campers to and from program areas using company passenger vans with gear and flatbed trailers in tow. You must be 20+ with a valid driver's license and clean driving record. We are accepting non-driver candidates for our Mountain Biking Specialist and Aftercare Supervisor role.
Job Duties
With a co-instructor, you will spend a week with a group of campers participating in and leading programs in mountain biking, outdoor rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, and/or SUPing - plus camp games!
Safety is key!! You will be responsible for risk management and teaching our campers how to recreate safely
You are a role model for our campers; you will demonstrate and guide campers in appropriate behavior, attitudes, and activities
Provide exceptional customer service to our campers, parents, and Avid families

Have a passion for and advanced skills in outdoor rock climbing or mountain biking? We’d love to consider you for one of our Activity Specialists to lead both our multisport and single sport programs
Your Background
Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of camp for all positions.We are accepting NON-DRIVER candidates for our Mountain Biking Specialist roles
Drivers: Must be at least 20 years of age, 3-year valid driver’s license, and have a clean driving record
+1 years of experience working with kids in a professional or volunteer setting preferred
Experience in our core sports is highly preferred, but not required for all positions (required for Specialists)
Minimum of Basic First Aid, CPR, and Mandatory Reporter certification by the start of camp (and we can point you in the right direction to get this done!!)
Specialized certifications eligible for end-of-season bonuses! $100 - $400 per certification
