BI Developer

We are seeking a skilled BI Developer to build, maintain, and enhance internal data infrastructure and reporting solutions. This role involves independently designing dashboards, reports, and data pipelines that enable business stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize dashboards and reporting solutions for internal teams.
• Develop and maintain reliable data infrastructure with a strong focus on data quality and accuracy.
• Design and implement scalable ETL/data pipelines using modern orchestration tools.
• Create and manage data models to support business intelligence and analytics requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable insights.
• Ensure performance optimization of queries and reporting systems.
• Maintain documentation and follow best practices for data governance and delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have:

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in SQL, including complex queries and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with BI and data visualization tools (Power BI preferred).
• Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages for data processing and automation.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with ETL and data pipeline tools such as Airflow, dbt (dbt-core), and Fivetran.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices using tools like GitHub CI.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience working with columnar or analytical databases.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with managed orchestration platforms for workflow scheduling.
