Role:

Our Surrey facility is looking for a Billing Clerk on a Part-Time Contract basis. Typical shifts will be on Mondays/Wednesdays/Saturdays, but can change based on business needs. Shifts will be in the evenings and mornings.

Candidates must be professional and possess a strong work ethic. Experience in a similar position is an asset. Candidates must be able to handle a high volume of data entry, stressful situations, possess ability to work independently and can trouble-shoot when necessary. This is an extremely fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and there is an expectation to process a high volume of work.

Responsibilities

Customer Invoicing, invoice correction and reversals.

Verification of BOL and shipping manifest.

Generate reports & documents, i.e., weight sheet summaries etc.

Interact with shippers, freight personnel and productions.

Answering phone calls and dealing with COD customers and cash receiving.

Order prioritizing in meeting driver's timelines.

Order transfers to and from various warehouses.

Issuing export documents.

Create inventory adjustments.

Deal with COD customers and cash receipts.

Other office duties as required.

Some ad-hoc requests.

Requirements

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Must be professional and possess a strong work ethic.

1-2 years experience in a similar position preferred.

Must be able to handle high volume data entry, stressful situations, and trouble-shoot as necessary.

Time management in an extremely fast-paced environment--high volume work and tight deadlines.

Flexibility in shift times to accommodate relief coverage when necessary including Saturdays and Night/Graveyard shifts coverages.
