Billing Specialist (Dental Claims)
Position available for a billing person experienced in dental claims. We have a high volume of daily claims from multiple locations. The ideal candidate must be an expert in submitting claims and denials as well as some knowledge of coding and submission processes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Dental software: Dentrix and Dexis
- Minimum 3 years of experience in billing and insurance verification (commercial and Medicaid)
- Call insurance company to check status of submitted claims
- Respond to the letters of requests and denials received daily from the Insurance Company
- Trace past claims and resend when necessary
- Post insurance payments to the patient's accounts
- Post Explanation of Benefits (EOB) to patient's charts
- Knowledge of Dental or Medical Billing
- Understanding of Medical Insurance procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
