Bookkeeper

A well-established benefits organization in Rockville, MD is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper. This role is ideal for candidates who have worked in large, structured organizations and are looking for long-term stability.

What You’ll Do

Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting support

Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations

Process transactions in accordance with established policies

Support accounting operations within a regulated environment

Work closely with accounting leadership and internal teams

What We’re Looking For

Proven bookkeeping experience in a mid-to-large organization

Strong accounting fundamentals and attention to detail

Dependable, punctual, and professional

Ability to pass an onsite bookkeeping assessment (80% or higher required)

Nice to Have:

Union environment experience

Background in benefits administration, government, or highly regulated industries
