We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team onsite in Beltsville, Maryland. As a key executive in a rapidly growing AI-focused organization, the CFO will lead all financial strategy, operations, and capital planning while serving as a trusted partner to the Co-CEOs, Board, and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings deep experience working with venture capital firms, managing complex stakeholder/investor relations, and successfully supporting or leading large-scale capital raises exceeding $500M, positioning the company for sustained growth and long-term value creation. Key Responsibilities
Lead all financial planning, reporting, and forecasting across the organization.Design and execute capital raising strategies (equity, debt, strategic investment) in alignment with growth goals, with a particular focus on funding large-scale infrastructure development.Serve as the key financial voice during investor roadshows, meetings, and due diligence processes.Evaluate and advise on optimal investment structures and partnership opportunities for scaling our AI Factory deployments. Build and lead a high-performing finance organization, including hiring for accounting, FP&A, and compliance roles.Oversee financial operations including accounting, controls, audits, tax, and legal compliance.Partner with Co-CEOs and executive leadership on strategic planning, pricing, and capital allocation for high-density data center infrastructure.Prepare company for IPO-readiness including SOX compliance, reporting standards, and public disclosures.Post-capital raise: maintain active relationships with equity analysts and the investment community and communicate our sustainability and infrastructure differentiation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA and/or CPA preferred.Proven experience as CFO or senior finance executive in a high-growth, capital-intensive environment such as data centers, infrastructure, energy, or AI.Strong track record in raising significant institutional capital from a wide range of investor classes, including venture capital, private equity, and strategic partners.Experience working with or within public companies — IPO or SPAC transition experience strongly preferred.Exceptional communication skills and comfort representing the company to external investors, analysts, and stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to develop a compelling investor narrative around AI infrastructure, scalability, and ESG performance.Deep financial acumen including GAAP, FP&A, capital markets, and investment structuring.
