Business Analyst
We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst Consultant to work in Trenton, NJ.
Responsibilities:
• Translate business requirements into specifications for infrastructure and app development projects * Knowledge of formal requirements gathering methodologies
• Develop Business Requirements - project lifecycle documents, what the needed achievements will be, and the quality measures
• Develop functional requirements - describe what the system, process, or product/service must do in order to fulfill the business requirements Analyze, facilitate, model, and organize information in order to reconcile conflicts, elicit requirements and distinguish solution ideas from business needs * Develop graphic representations of complex business processes
• Develop User (stakeholder) requirements reflecting how the product/service will be designed, developed, and define how test cases must be formulated
• Develop Quality-of-service (non-functional) requirements - (e.g. performance, scalability, quality of service (QoS), security and usability).
• Develop Requirements Traceability Matrix
• Assist in business Change Management activities
• Help the project meet schedule, business and budget objectives
• Provide leadership assistance to project manager in planning, analysis and execution of plans
• Effectively influence and lead multiple levels of the organization through functional boundaries
• Solid knowledge of relevant technology concepts (e.g. physical and virtual resources, software, networks, email, security etc.)
• Strong communication skills, including prioritizing, problem-solving and interpersonal relationship building
• Proven time management with organizational skills. Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
This is an hourly position with opportunity for overtime.

Qualifications
• Business Analysis to include: Create and maintain project documentation artifacts, including detailed user requirements documents, flowcharts, diagrams, use cases, system documentation, installation/configuration manuals outlining essential steps, and change logs. Work with application teams to translate business needs into operational systems.
• Accurately document customer needs based on information acquired through requirements gathering sessions and prepare documentation to assist IT staff.
• Function as a liaison between the customer and IT staff.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and prepare test data.
• 7+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst
• Bachelor's Degree
*Up to 60% travel may be required. Mileage, tolls & parking will be reimbursed.
