The Business Analyst will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements, analyze processes, and translate business needs into well-defined functional specifications. The role involves active collaboration with product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives and delivered efficiently.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with Product, Development, and QA teams to support end-to-end project execution and delivery.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvement opportunities.
  • Develop use cases, workflows, process flows, wireframes, and data models to support solution design.
  • Conduct data analysis to generate insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating business scenarios and ensuring solutions meet defined objectives.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation including BRDs, FRDs, process documents, and user guides.
  • Ensure alignment between business goals, system functionality, and implementation outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within IT or software development environments.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC with hands-on experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, and basic SQL querying.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Domain experience in BFSI, E-commerce, SaaS, or Fleet Management solutions.
  • Exposure to data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with API documentation, integrations, and system interfaces.
