The Business Analyst will work closely with business, sales, customer service, and engineering teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable techno-functional requirements. This role combines business analysis with project coordination responsibilities, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality business applications and reports in a fintech environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business, sales, and customer service teams to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements and ensure alignment with product and project goals.
  • Develop detailed and accurate techno-functional specifications for business applications built on HTML, PHP, Salesforce, and SQL Server.
  • Document Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, user guides, and detailed test cases.
  • Design and generate MIS reports and dashboards using Salesforce, SQL Server, and Power BI.
  • Perform functional and technical testing of business applications, including database validations, SQL queries, REST APIs, and system integrations.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to support solution design, clarify requirements, and ensure timely implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, timelines, and delivery schedules, and communicate project status and enhancements to stakeholders.
  • Manage and execute projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies, leveraging tools such as JIRA for sprint planning, tracking, and delivery.
  • Handle production issues and user queries, track defects and enhancements, and ensure timely resolution through closure.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending system or workflow enhancements.

Domain Expertise

  • Strong hands-on experience in Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and Loan Management Systems (LMS).
  • Solid understanding of fintech processes and financial domain workflows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA, or equivalent qualification with finance/fintech domain exposure.
  • Consistently strong academic background from a recognised institution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Agile/Scrum certification is preferred.
