We are seeking a driven and commercially sharp Business Development Manager to accelerate growth in a fast-paced eCommerce logistics environment. This role focuses on acquiring and managing high-potential D2C brands and drop shippers with significant shipping needs, while also identifying opportunities to expand relationships into broader fulfillment solutions over time. You will play a critical role in building revenue pipelines, shaping customer success from the first shipment, and contributing market insights that influence product and operational strategy.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive revenue growth within assigned segments or geographies by acquiring new shipping-focused customers.
- Identify, prospect, and onboard D2C brands and drop shippers with high order volumes and scalable business models.
- Conduct consultative discovery to understand client challenges related to RTO, NDR, COD reconciliation, courier performance, delivery SLAs, and cost optimization.
- Clearly articulate and position the shipping value proposition across pricing, network coverage, technology enablement, and operational reliability.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles including discovery calls, proposal sharing, commercial negotiations, and deal closures.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and rapid time-to-first-shipment by coordinating closely with internal operations, tech, and support teams.
- Identify accounts with long-term potential for fulfillment expansion and enable structured cross-sell conversations in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline with accurate tracking of leads, conversions, and revenue forecasts.
- Share customer feedback, competitive insights, and courier-level intelligence with internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 2–6 years of experience in business development, sales, or account growth roles, ideally within logistics, shipping platforms, courier aggregation, or eCommerce operations.
- Strong understanding of D2C, marketplace, and drop-shipping shipping workflows and unit economics.
- Proven ability to engage in consultative selling, balancing commercial discussions with operational problem-solving.
- Comfortable managing multiple deals simultaneously while maintaining strong follow-through and execution discipline.
- Solid grasp of pricing structures, margins, and performance metrics related to shipping and logistics.
- Clear, confident communicator with the ability to build trust with founders, operators, and decision-makers.
- High ownership mindset with a bias for action, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
