In this role, you will work within the FP&A function to support core financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities. You will be responsible for managing month-end processes, preparing financial reports, analyzing operating expenses, and supporting forecasting and budgeting cycles. The position requires strong analytical skills, clear communication, and hands-on expertise in Excel, with exposure to ERP systems adding significant value.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the FP&A team with month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial closure
  • Independently manage the month-end close cycle, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyze operating expenses (OPEX), identify trends, and highlight key variances
  • Support the preparation of monthly forecasts and annual budgets, including rolling forecasts
  • Manage monthly accruals and prepayments in line with accounting policies
  • Develop and maintain financial reports such as KPIs, scorecards, benchmarking, and variance analysis
  • Support management with insightful commentary on financial performance and key drivers
  • Ensure strict adherence to defined SLAs, delivering outputs that are accurate and on time
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation of efficiency enhancements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial queries and support business planning

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Strong working knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) concepts and processes
  • Hands-on experience with month-end accounting, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling, analysis, and reporting
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or PeopleSoft (preferred)
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and translate numbers into meaningful insights
  • Clear and confident communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive mindset with an interest in continuous improvement and process optimization
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
