Job Overview
We’re seeking a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to help expand our partnerships within the optics and eyewear industry. This is a highly outbound-focused role, ideal for someone who thrives in prospecting, cold outreach, and building genuine connections with decision-makers. You’ll play a key role in generating qualified leads and fueling the growth pipeline for our partnerships team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cold outreach via calls, emails, and LinkedIn to targeted optics and eyewear companies
- Generate qualified leads and schedule discovery calls for the partnerships team
- Research the optics market and identify high-potential brand and retail prospects
- Maintain an organized pipeline and track prospect interactions using CRM tools
- Communicate the company’s value proposition clearly and persuasively
- Nurture early-stage leads to build and maintain sales momentum
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine outreach strategies and messaging
- Share feedback on market trends, objections, and competitive insights
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Lead Generation
(Experience in SaaS or retail technology is a plus) - Proven ability to conduct cold calls and handle objections effectively
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and organized, with a proactive approach to outreach
- Ability to understand and explain technical solutions in simple terms
- Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
