Job Overview
We’re seeking a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to help expand our partnerships within the optics and eyewear industry. This is a highly outbound-focused role, ideal for someone who thrives in prospecting, cold outreach, and building genuine connections with decision-makers. You’ll play a key role in generating qualified leads and fueling the growth pipeline for our partnerships team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct cold outreach via calls, emails, and LinkedIn to targeted optics and eyewear companies
  • Generate qualified leads and schedule discovery calls for the partnerships team
  • Research the optics market and identify high-potential brand and retail prospects
  • Maintain an organized pipeline and track prospect interactions using CRM tools
  • Communicate the company’s value proposition clearly and persuasively
  • Nurture early-stage leads to build and maintain sales momentum
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine outreach strategies and messaging
  • Share feedback on market trends, objections, and competitive insights

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Lead Generation
    (Experience in SaaS or retail technology is a plus)
  • Proven ability to conduct cold calls and handle objections effectively
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and organized, with a proactive approach to outreach
  • Ability to understand and explain technical solutions in simple terms
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
