Overview
Our client is seeking a high-output Business Ops professional to own the end-to-end operational lifecycle and manage the flow of capital and goods across Asian markets. You will architect their financial and operational engine, operating at the intersection of Finance, Payment Operations, and Procurement. You will join a high-caliber team in a fast-paced start-up environment, where financial precision and rapid, reliable execution are the key.
What You Will Do
Lead end-to-end payment flows across Asian markets, including international transfers, FX, and multi-currency supplier payouts. Keep our "Liquidity-to-Market" moving as quickly and reliably as our supply chain.
Design the financial process, build the operating system, not just the ledger. Create scalable workflows for reconciliation, automated invoicing, and payment validation to support new brand launches and market expansion.
Partner with Brand Principals to run the procurement cycle. Use sales velocity and payment terms to optimize "Open-to-Buy," balancing rapid growth with disciplined cash management.
Own and continuously improve the finance and operations stack (ERP, payment gateways, and automation tools). Automate where it matters, and ensure the tooling fits our business logic rather than forcing the business into rigid software.
Support regional scale-up by navigating VAT/GST requirements, cross-market reconciliations, and tax-efficient operating structures for smooth, compliant growth.
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s degree with 2-6 years of experience in Business Operations, Corporate Finance, Big 4 audit, or within a fast-growing FinTech or e-commerce company.
Strong Excel capability (Pivot Tables, Index/Match, financial modeling). You think in systems. You do not only spot a mismatch. You design the workflow so it does not recur.
A self-driven operator who takes full ownership. You have the follow-through to resolve payment variances and the judgement to design cross-border, tax-efficient operational flows.
Professional fluency in English and Mandarin. Cantonese is a plus.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, value teamwork, and can work independently to hit targets.
Candidates with deeper experience will be considered for a Manager role.
