The Business Systems Analyst will play a central role in supporting complex technology and reporting initiatives within a financial and investment environment. This position involves coordinating requirements, managing technology migrations, and developing internal reporting solutions while working closely with engineering teams, vendors, and business partners. The analyst will ensure that technology solutions meet business needs and support strategic objectives, while also contributing to project management activities for seamless implementation. This is a high-impact role suited for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments.

Accountabilities:

  • Gather, document, and manage detailed business and technical requirements
  • Coordinate efforts between technology teams, business partners, and external vendors to ensure alignment and progress
  • Support vendor conversion projects, including migration from multiple legacy systems to a single platform
  • Assist in the design and buildout of new internal reporting solutions for investment research, vote tracking, interaction tracking, and ETF reporting
  • Provide project management support, including tracking milestones, reporting status, and escalating risks or issues
  • Ensure timely delivery of technology solutions that meet business needs and compliance standards
  • Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial or investment-related environments
  • Proven experience managing technology projects, including system migrations and integrations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate across teams and vendors
  • Ability to document, analyze, and translate complex requirements into actionable solutions
  • Experience supporting investment research, reporting, and related financial systems is preferred
  • Comfortable balancing business analysis responsibilities (80%) with project management tasks (20%)
