Duties & Role:
Under the supervision of NCIA EW&S lead the contractor will perform the following tasks:
- Management of EW&S projects through monitoring and reporting;
- Support meetings of multidisciplinary teams and technical and operational stakeholders;
- Participate in technical and operational meetings, providing secretarial services;
- Manage internal resources,
- Support the preparation of periodic project management reports;
- Support deployment of EW&S systems and prototypes into military trials and exercises including being at the trial/exercise site during execution.
- Provide meaningful input to the areal lead for managing EW&S projects.
Specific Working Conditions: Travel can be expected to The Hague (approx. 1 quarterly meeting / 3 days visit) and to other sites, as needed, in relation to project deliverables. Travel cost will be covered by the project (NCIA). The intention is to extend in 2027.
Requirements
Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
- The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- Must demonstrate expert knowledge of project management principles and practices;
- Must demonstrated expert level knowledge of PRINCE 2 or similar management framework.
- Must have experience in using enterprise management system and enterprise resource planning systems;
- Must have experience with the NATO procurement process.
- Must have experience of deployment of NATO equipment to NATO trials and exercises.
- Nationally recognized/certified university qualification on management/ economics;
- Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency, that is, at least 3 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post;
- Must have excellent spoken and written English communication and presentation skills, as demonstrated by recent experience (within the past 5 years);
- Must demonstrate the ability and self-motivation to work on his/her own but must also work well within groups as part of a team;
- Must demonstrate an ability and keen sense for problem-solving;
