This individual will be responsible for contacting leads and calling lapsed and lost Au Bon Pain Catering Customers in an effort to recapture their catering business. Expected to meet or exceed given sales goals from recaptured customers. Commission will be paid on the next catering order placed as a result of the Catering Sales Associates outreach.
Responsibilities:
Rebuild and rekindle past ABP catering relationships by cold calling catering customers from a provided list from an existing data base.
Follow-up on every potential lead or request to secure the catering business.
Be proficient in ABP catering menu offerings and services.
Be knowledgeable about the local competition and be able to speak to what ABP’s attributes are in comparison.
Seek and receive customer feedback and ensures timely follow up when applicable.
Be able to convince a previously unhappy customer to give Au Bon Pain Catering another try.
Attend required training session(s) regularly scheduled meetings. (via phone)
Provide regular communication regarding number of call completed, recouped catering customers and further follow-up that may be required.
Track, log, and & report all call activity monthly.
Communicates with the Director of Catering Marketing or local sales manager regularly to report progress, developments, and opportunities.
Create an environment of trust, mutual respect, and credibility.
Communicate with the, Director of Catering Marketing, Catering Sales Manager or Catering Call Center if made aware of a time sensitive order or issue that may develop.
Minimum of High School education or equivalent.
Sales or customer service experience a plus
